RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. It provides contact free transmission of data and energy between a transponder (tag) and a reader unit. Our unique RFID concept makes it possible to perform contact free measurements in rough environments, without cables and without source of electric current.
The read data is stored in a database that is integrated in the ordinary computer environment. The RFID tag carries a serial number that the reader gets hold of by activating the tag with a magnetic field. Since the magnetic field penetrates most materials the tag can be encapsulated almost anywhere.
Systems based on RFID can therefore be very robust and flexible. Besides the serial number the intelligent tags can also perform different kind of measurements, which may report via the magnetic field.
